https://www.facebook.com/Bulletbelt/ https://bulletbeltnz.bandcamp.com/ It was with the release of 2012 album "Down in the Cold of the Grave" by Wellington band, Bulletbelts, that I first, properly, heard of the band and their sound etc. As I say in the video, in- what I find to be an interesting twist to events, the original guitarist of No Tag, the '80's punk band who did the original version of 'Mistaken identity'- which Bulletbelt covers on this album, actually talked to me about Bulletbelt. The world would likely be more familiar with their 2014 effort, 'Rise of the Banshee', due not only to the wickedness of the music, but it's inclusion on the Deathgasm (the movie) soundtrack. Welcome to the HEAVY METAL WANAKA PODCAST In this Episode I speak with Mick Jeffrey from Australian Metal band AVERSIONS CROWN.  The bands latest, and third record, "XENOCIDE" was released on January 20th 2017.  The album has a concept of some natural, which is reflected in the amazing album art and the music videos for this album.
